JoshuaOnsite Pharmacist: They're a company that believes in their pharmacists, they're a company that believes in taking care of the patients – and that's really who I wanted to be with.

VeraniceSenior Beauty Advisor: I chose Walgreens because it was a great opportunity. Everywhere you look there is a Walgreens. So I applied for the position, not really knowing what I was getting into. And what I found was that I had a great opportunity. You have the potential to go as high as you'd like to go, and as far as you'd like to go.

LuannHR Generalist: One of the main reasons I chose Walgreens, initially, was because of their commitment to hiring people with disabilities; that was very important to me. But as I did research about the company I learned so much more. There's their commitment to growth. They want the company to grow and their employees to grow at the same time. Their commitment to customer service was very important. Innovation, technology – Walgreens uses both of those things extensively throughout all of their divisions. And just the “family feel” that Walgreens has. When you're at work, it feels like a family, and at the same time you know that they're committed to giving you time to go home and spend time with your family away from work, and that was very important to me.

HaideeReal Estate Manager: Walgreens has always been one of the companies that I had in mind. I grew up going to Walgreens, and I've always known of their commitment to the community. I was first hired as a summer intern, and I learned then that there's a lot of opportunities in the company. There's a lot of room to grow, a lot of skills to be learned. And you can apply your skills and challenge yourself every day. Later, I was hired as a permanent employee, and I continue to grow. I continue to challenge myself every day and to learn new skills. I really believe that this is a place where I can really have a career and continue to grow day in and day out.
