Maintenance Technician

Pharmacy – Micro-Fulfillment Centers

Our pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers are a critical part of our pharmacy operations. Here, you’ll use innovative, robotic technology in a central pharmacy environment to help ease workload on our store pharmacy teams and streamline fulfillment of prescription orders. Your work in our pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers will free up capacity for our store pharmacists and technicians to do what they do best – provide amazing, personalized patient care. Maintenance Function Manager

General Manager

You’re the operational leader of our distribution center. As a General Manager, your responsibilities include strategy, budgets, key performance indicators, safety, compliance, culture and engagement, and performance management. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Asset Protection, Maintenance, and senior supply chain leadership.

You’ll impact every HR discipline relating to recruiting, benefits and performance management throughout our distribution centers. And you'll work closely with our management team to ensure that our team members are able to play a key role in meeting our company's goals.

Human Resources Manager

As an HR manager, you'll be responsible for the overall HR functions within the facility. This encompasses everything from employee relations activities and personnel administrative functions to payroll and recruitment. You’ll also function as an HR business partner to our operations leadership.

Human Resources Generalist

As an HR generalist, you'll provide general human resources support for all areas of the distribution center – from employment and community relations to payroll, HRIS, benefits and more. This is a great role to prepare you for leadership roles in HR.

Human Resources Specialist

As an HR specialist, you'll work with an HR generalist to support multiple functions and duties throughout the distribution centers – from collecting and compiling sensitive and confidential data to preparing reports and creating tracking logs. This position is also an amazing opportunity to learn HR and grow your career in HR with Walgreens.

Our distribution centers, regional warehouses and retail stores have become a model for other companies that are interested in hiring people with disabilities. For the last 17 years, our Transitional Work Group (TWG) and Retail Employee Disability Initiative (REDI) programs have successfully provided training and other accommodations to this underrepresented population with so much to offer. Since the program’s beginnings, we’ve expanded to 12 distribution centers and over 750 stores across the country and have hired more than 1,400 people between both programs. In 2023, Walgreens launched a third hiring program for people with disabilities in our micro-fulfillment centers and was recognized by Disability: IN with a 100% score on its Disability Equality Index for the seventh year in a row.
